NEAC SAAC Partners up with Special Olympics for the Second Straight Year for the Conference’s Annual Community Outreach Initiative
For the second straight year, the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) teamed up with Special Olympics for the conference’s annual community outreach initiative, as the NEAC SAAC was involved with two separate Special Olympics events this past Sunday, April 1.

SUNY Cobleskill's Schiebel, Porterfield Earn Honors at National Competition
SUNY Cobleskill freshmen student-athletes Tracee Schiebel and Kady Porterfield have been honored for their performances at the 2012 National Postsecondary Agricultural Conference, which was hosted by the Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization of Iowa (PAS) at the organization’s annual conference in Des Moines, Iowa held this year from March 13 through March 17.

Gallaudet University freshmen Kali Frowick and Sarah Tubert were both selected to the 2011 ECAC Division III Upstate/Metro Volleyball All-Stars Second Team after leading the Bison to the NEAC championship and a berth into the NCAA tournament.

Saint Elizabeth Honors Sears as NJAIAW Woman of the Year
The College of Saint Elizabeth selection committee has chosen senior Chanice Sears (Plainfield, N.J.) as the school's 2011-12 representative at January's annual Woman of the Year Luncheon to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The luncheon, hosted by the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), recognizes the outstanding achievements of female collegiate athletes.

Keuka College Women's Volleyball Team Advances to NEAC Tournament Semifinals with 3-1 Win over Lancaster Bible College
The fifth-seeded Keuka College Storm advanced to the NEAC women's volleyball tournament semifinals after defeating the fourth-seeded Lancaster Bible College Chargers 3-1 (24-26, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23) in the quarterfinal round, which was held on the campus of Penn State Berks Friday.

North Eastern Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Regular Season All-Conference Selections
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) concluded the women’s volleyball season with the Penn State Berks Nittany Lions capturing the regular season championship after going a perfect 10-0 in conference play (21-7 overall). The NEAC is proud to announce the 2011 regular season award winners and the all-conference selections. The NEAC consists of 11 women’s volleyball programs and will honor 21 student-athletes on the three all-conference teams as listed below, as well as four individual award winners.

Penn State Berks Set to Host 2011 North Eastern Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Championships; All But One Playoff Spot Locked Up
After finishing with a perfect 10-0 record in conference play, the Penn State Berks Nittany Lions have won the North Eastern Athletic Conference regular season championship and the right to host this year’s NEAC Championship Tournament, which will take place on Friday November, 4th and Saturday, November 5th.
