November 27, 2013 NEAC Schools Continue Their Support of Breast Cancer Awareness As has become tradition around the NEAC, many member schools held various Breast Cancer Awareness events throughout the month of October in an effort to raise awareness and funds to fight this dreaded disease.
November 19, 2013 | Men's Soccer Wells Men’s Soccer Raises Funds For Referee Mike Smith The men’s soccer program from Wells College recently completed its fundraising efforts to benefit the family of Lauren Smith, a Cazenovia College women’s volleyball player. Her father, Mike Smith of Homer, N.Y., was a long-time soccer official in the Finger Lakes Region who passed away this past August. Smith regularly officiated NEAC games, including several at Wells over the years.

January 5, 2012 SUNYIT Women’s Soccer Team among Winners of Jostens/NADIIIAA Community Service Award The SUNYIT women’s soccer team earned national recognition on Tuesday for their commitment to a community service project during the 2010-11 academic year. The team was among a handful of institutions recognized as part of the annual Jostens/NADIIIAA Community Service Award, to be presented at the NCAA Convention in Indianapolis on Thursday, Jan. 12.

It is the first NEAC title that Abington has won in any sport since joining the conference in 2009.

February 10, 2011 SUNYIT Women’s Soccer Ronald McDonald House Bowl-A-Thon a Great Success The SUNYIT women’s soccer team held its first Ronald McDonald House Bowl-A-Thon at Utica’s Pin-O-Rama this past Thursday and the event was a great success, as the Lady Wildcats raised hundreds of dollars at the event that will benefit multiple families and children in Central New York.
November 8, 2010 Gallaudet Wins Women's Volleyball, SUNYIT Win's Men's Soccer & Keuka Win's Women's Soccer The North Eastern Athletic Conference concluded its women’s volleyball season with first-round, semi-final and championship action over the last two days. Gallaudet University wins their first NEAC championship and advances to the NCAA tournament after capturing the NEAC title. In men’s and women’s soccer action, the semi-finals are concluded and the championship games are set for November 7, 2010.
