NEAC SAAC Partners up with Special Olympics for the Second Straight Year for the Conference’s Annual Community Outreach Initiative
For the second straight year, the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) teamed up with Special Olympics for the conference’s annual community outreach initiative, as the NEAC SAAC was involved with two separate Special Olympics events this past Sunday, April 1.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at the College of Saint Elizabeth teamed up with the Special Olympics of New Jersey to host the 2012 North Sectional Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

SUNY Cobleskill Women's Soccer Team Honored by NSCAA
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has honored the SUNY Cobleskill women’s soccer team with one of the association’s 2010-11 Team Academic Awards for the past academic year. The NSCAA awards the Team Academic Awards among its 792 member programs to teams that compile a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

SUNYIT Women’s Soccer Team among Winners of Jostens/NADIIIAA Community Service Award
The SUNYIT women’s soccer team earned national recognition on Tuesday for their commitment to a community service project during the 2010-11 academic year. The team was among a handful of institutions recognized as part of the annual Jostens/NADIIIAA Community Service Award, to be presented at the NCAA Convention in Indianapolis on Thursday, Jan. 12.

After yet another outstanding year in her final season as a Wildcat, SUNY Institute of Technology senior Nicole DiNitto (Oriskany, N.Y.) was named to the NCAA Division III All-East Team for the second straight season.

Gallaudet, SUNYIT and Lancaster Bible Moving on to NCAA Championships
The Gallaudet University women’s volleyball team, the SUNY Institute of Technology men’s soccer team and the Lancaster Bible College women’s soccer team are set to represent the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships for their respective sports.

Penn State Abington Wins 2011 NEAC Women’s Soccer Championship after Defeating Lancaster Bible College in Penalty Kicks
The Penn State Abington Nittany Lions won the 2011 North Eastern Athletic Conference women’s soccer championship after defeating the Lancaster Bible College Chargers in penalty kicks yesterday. It is the first NEAC title that Abington has won in any sport since joining the conference in 2009.

The Lancaster Bible College Chargers and the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions both advanced to the championship round of the 2011 NEAC women’s soccer tournament and a champion will be determined when they square off tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Lancaster.

North Eastern Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Regular Season All-Conference Selections
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) concluded the women’s soccer season where the conference’s newest member, the Lancaster Bible Chargers, won the regular season championship with a perfect 11-0 NEAC record (17-1 overall). The NEAC is proud to announce the 2011 regular season award winners and the all-conference selections. The NEAC consists of 13 women’s soccer programs and will honor 34 student-athletes on the three all-conference teams as listed below, as well as four individual award winners.

Penn State Harrisburg Women's Soccer Team to Wear Pink Jerseys in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
On Saturday, October 8th at 2pm, the Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer team and Head Coach Mark Brown will be wearing the color pink in support of the Feel Your Boobies Foundation, a Middletown based organization which not only raises breast cancer awareness but also educates women about the importance of self-breast examination.
