For the second year in a row, the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions won the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Presidents’ Cup, which has taken on a much different look this year. The NEAC established a new approach to awarding its Presidents’ Cup this year in an effort to truly reflect the core values of NCAA Division III. The NEAC has announced its scholar-athlete selections for the 2012-13 academic year. In order to be selected, a student-athlete must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. This year, the NEAC is honoring a total of 515 scholar-athletes from its 16 member institutions (3 associate) who represent 26 different states and 14 different countries.
