NEAC M&W Basketball Tournament Final Results

The men's and women's champions were crowed this weekend sending our best to the NCAA tournament.  On the women's side, Keuka College defeated Gallaudet University 50-46 while Wells College defeated Penn State Harrisburg in a tough OT battle 75-72.   Keuka College will travel to William Patterson University for their first round game while Wells College heads to SUNY Oswego on Friday, March 4.  Gallaudet University's women have received an at-large birth into the NCAA tournament and will play at Juniata.

Tournament MVP honors were awarded to Keuka College's #21 Brittany Schrock and Well's College's #21 Terry Harrison.  Schrock, a senior guard from Elmira Heights, NY,  finished the tournament with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, 4 steals, 7-for-14 from three point range (0.500 from the arch), 3-for-4 from the foul line (0.75 from the line) and a 0.513 shooting percentage.  Harrison, a junior forward from Brooklyn, NY, finished the tournament with 58 points, 24 rebounds, 8 assists, 7 steals, 1-for-4 from three point ranges (0.250 from the arch), 27-for-43 (0.628) from the foul line, and a 0.531 shooting percentage.
