Espe Receives NEAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Award

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Sarah Espe as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s lacrosse for the week ending March 11. There were no nominations for women’s lacrosse defensive player of the week.

Sarah Espe (Johnson City, N.Y.), a senior midfielder from Medaille College, is the NEAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week with 14 points in a 1-1 week for the Mavericks. In a 17-8 win at Goucher, Espe tallied three goals and four assists. She added four goals and three assists in a loss at Eastern on March 10. While all 12 of her shots were on goal, Espe also led the team with 10 draw controls, recorded five caused turnovers and picked up four ground balls in two games.
