Hannah Neild Earns Third NEAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honor

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Hannah Neild as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s basketball for the week ending Feb. 4.

Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) from Gallaudet University receives her third NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week award after averaging 33.7 points per game in a three-game week for the Bison. A junior for the Gallaudet squad, Neild opened the week with 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 79-65 win at Penn State Abington. She added a career-high 37 points a loss at Morrisville State and finished the weekend with 34 points in a loss to SUNY Poly. For the week, Neild totaled 101 points, 18 rebounds, 14 steals, eight assists and four blocks. She shot 45.9 percent from the field, made 10 three-pointers and went 23-for-25 from the free-throw line in the Bison’s 1-2 week.
