Kevin Williams Receives Third NEAC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week Award

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced Kevin Williams as its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in men’s basketball for the week ending Feb. 4.

Kevin Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) from SUNY Poly has been selected the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the third time this season. Williams, a senior forward, posted a pair of double-doubles in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats. He scored 24 points with 12 rebounds against SUNY Cobleskill on Jan. 31 and followed that up with 20 points and six rebounds against the College of Saint Elizabeth. Williams closed out the week with 29 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Gallaudet to post an average of 24.3 points and 12 rebounds per game. He totaled 73 points, 36 rebounds, three assists, four steals and six blocks in three games while shooting 53.2 percent from the field.
