GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its Student-Athlete of the Week selection in women’s cross country for the week ending Sept. 3. SUNY Cobleskill's Quinn Porter is the the first weekly selection of the 2017 season.

Quinn Porter (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) from SUNY Cobleskill has been named NEAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after winning an individual title in her first race of the season. The Fighting Tigers’ junior completed the 5,000-meter course in 20:22 to lead the pack of 64 runners at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State. Porter took the lead at the half-mile mark and finished eight seconds ahead of the field.
