NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week Selection For 12/14/09
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selections for week ending Sunday, December 13, 2009 in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, and women’s swimming and diving.
DARREL BULLOCK (Chicago, IL) was selected as the
NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Bullock, a
senior guard for the Wells College
Express, was selected for his outstanding performance
in his lone game against conference rival, Cazenovia College.
Bullock dominated the game scoring a season-high 30 points, while
adding 9 assists, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals in the 105-80 win.
Bullock shot 4-6 from the free throw line and had an amazing .765
shooting percentage from the field.
SARAH KOZLOWSKI (Manalapan, NJ) was selected as
the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.
Kozlowski, a 5’8” senior forward for the
College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming
Eagles, was selected for leading her team to 3-1 week
including three conference victories over Penn State
–Abington, Penn State – Berks, and Wilson College.
Kozlowski finished the week with 60 points (15/game), 39 rebound
(9.75/game), 13 steals (3.25/game), 6 assists, 2 blocks, 14-for-20
from the free throw line (.700 shooting percentage), 3-7 from the
three-point line (.429 shooting percentage), and a .447 shooting
percentage from the field.
KATHRYN SEPKA (Webster, NY) was selected as the
NEAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Week
for her three 1st place finishes for the Cazenovia
College Wildcats. The senior won the 500-Yard
Freestyle with a time of 6:13.03, the 1000-Yard Freestyle in
12:53.27, and the 400-Yard Team Freestyle with a 4:35.17 time in
the dual meet with Saint Elizabeth College.
