NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week Selection For 11/30/09
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces
student-athlete of the week
selections for week ending Sunday, November 29, 2009 in the sports
of men’s and women’s basketball.
JUAN PAULINO (Bronx, NY) was selected as the NEAC
Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Paulino, a
senior center for the Wells College
Express, was selected for his amazing all-around
performance for the week leading his team to a 2-0 week. Brown
finished the week with 35 points (17.5/game), 35 rebounds
(17.5/game), 4 assists (2.0/game), 6 blocks (3.0/game), 3 steals,
and a .682 shooting percentage.
SARAH KOZLOWSKI (Manalapan, NJ) was selected as
the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.
Clarke, a 5’8” senior forward for the
College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming
Eagles, was selected for her MVP performance that led
her team to the 2009 Hilton Thanksgiving Tournament Championship.
Kozlowski finished the week with 46 points (15.3/game), 14 rebound
(7.0/game), 16 (5.3/game), 13 steals (4.3/game), 4 blocks
(1.3/game), 12-for-16 from the free throw line (.750) and a .417
shooting percentage. Along with being named MVP of the tournament,
Kozlowski scored her 1,000th point for her career in the first half
of a win over Saint Joseph’s.
