    The Wells College women?s lacrosse team honored its 10-member senior class and won a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Saturday, April 20 at the Wells Turf Field. Wells defeated Lancaster Bible College 20-11 to improve to 4-3 in the conference and 6-5 overall.

    The Wells College baseball team took control with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth and the Express won 14-8 over Elmira College on Tuesday, April 16 at the Wells Turf Field. Dylan Nolan hit a two-run homer in the fourth, which was his 100th career hit. He is the first player to reach 100 career hits since baseball was instituted at Wells in 2017.

    The Wells College men?s volleyball team rallied from two sets down and won the 2019 North Eastern Athletic Conference championship match in five sets over Lancaster Bible College. It is the first conference title in the eight-year existence of Wells College men?s volleyball and the Express have qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time.

    The Wells College women?s lacrosse team had a spirited comeback but came up short in a 23-22 loss at SUNY Poly on Sunday, April 14. The Express trailed by five goals in each half, eventually tied it 22-22 with eight and a half minutes remaining, but the host Wildcats scored the winning goal in the final minute of the second half.

    The Wells College softball team honored its four seniors prior to a Saturday, April 13 doubleheader against College of Saint Elizabeth. Carley Ryan, Autumn McLain, Lizzie Monnat, and Ellie Schwoebel were recognized in the pre-game ceremony. Saint Elizabeth won the first game 4-0 and took the second game 10-2 in five innings.
