The University of Dallas is a highly selective, independent, Catholic, liberal arts university located in Irving, Texas with a second campus in Rome, Italy where 80% of our students spend a semester. The University of Dallas is dedicated to the pursuit of wisdom, of truth, and of virtue as the proper and primary ends of education. The University seeks to educate its students so they may develop the intellectual and moral virtues, prepare themselves for life and work in a problematic and changing world, and become leaders able to act responsibly for their own good and for the good of their family, community, country and church.
The University of Dallas offers 15 intercollegiate sports men and women including: baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's golf, women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, and women's volleyball. The University of Dallas is an independent member of the NCAA Division III and participates as an associate member of the NEAC in six sports: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's golf and men's soccer. The University of Dallas will also compete in women's volleyball beginning in 2009.
