Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week ending Sunday, February 24, 2008 in the sports of men's and women's basketball.

Abe Hitz (Annville, PA) was selected as the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Hitz, a 5’10” junior guard for Penn State Univeristy – Harrisburg, was selected for his outstanding offensive performance for the week. Despite the teams loss, Hitz finished the week with 31 points (31/game), 1 rebound, 1 assist, 4 steals, 12-for-13 from the free throw line (.923 from the line), and a .500 shooting percentage. Hitz recorded a impressive game high 31 points with 12-for-13 shooting from the foul line.

Angel Clark(Lackawanna, NY) was selected as the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Clark, a 5’5” sophomore guard for D’Youville College was selected for her strong offensive and defensive performance for the week. This week, Fallon help lead her team to a 1-1 week in conference play with 35 points (17.5/game), 14 rebounds (7/game), 11 assists (5.5/game), 4 steals, 4-for-10 from three point range (.400 from 3-pt. range), 1-for-2 from the free throw line (.500 from the line), and a .517 shooting percentage. Clark scored a game high 22 point in the final game of the season along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals going 3-for-6 from three point range and 9-for-19 from the floor.
