Student-Athlete of the Week Selections

Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selections
for week ending Sunday, December 9, 2007 in the sports of men's and women’s basketball.

Colleen Clarke (Johnson City, NY) was selected as the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Clarke, a 5’7” sophomore guard for the Cazenovia College Wildcats, was selected for her strong offensive and defensive performance for the week. Despite the team’s two losses this week, Clarke finished the week with 47 points (23.5/game), 10 rebounds (5/game), 11 steals (5.5/game), 5 assist, 3-for-11 from 3-point range (.273 from 3-point range), 6-for-9 from the free throw line (.667 from the line), and a .500 shooting percentage. Clarke recorded a game-high 27 points in the team’s second game this week with 11-for-21 shooting overall and 9 steals. |

Stephen Harris (Watervliet, NY) was selected as the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Harris, a 5’11” junior guard for the Cazenovia College Wildcats, was selected for his outstanding offensive performance for the week leading his team to a 1-1 week (1-0 in conference play). Harris finished the week with 51 points (25.5/game), 4 rebounds (2/game), 10 assists (5/game), 1 steal, 1 block, 9-for-18 from 3-point range (.500 from 3-point range), 10-for-13 from the free throw line (.769 from the line), and a .530 shooting percentage. Harris had a game-high 30 points in the first game this week including 5-for-10 from three-point range and 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
