North Eastern Athletic Conference Student-Athlete of the Week Selections
GANSVOORT, NY – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selections for week ending Sunday, November 18, 2007 in the sports of men's and women’s basketball.

Christine Halter (Holley, NY) was selected as the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.  Halter, a 6’4” junior center for the D’Youville College Spartans, was selected for her strong offensive performance for the week leading her team to a 2-0 week in non-conference play.  Halter finished the week with 41 points (20.5/game), 29 rebound (14.5/game), 1 assists, 3 steal, 7-for-9 from the free throw line, and a .582 shooting percentage.  Halter was named MVP of the Buffalo State/Abgott Invitational.
Raquan Banks (Schenectady, NY) was selected as the NEAC Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.  Banks, a 6’4” freshman forward for the Keuka College Storm, was selected for his outstanding offensive performance for the week.  Banks finished the week with 27 points (27/game), 5 rebounds (5/game), 3 assists, 2 steals, 7-for-16 from 3-point range, and a .450 shooting percentage.  In his first college game, Banks put up some steller numbers.
